Deconstruction of shape and form has been a trend since the late 1800's. I love Classicism and this painting repesents the end of that highly romantic period of art. There are in here allusions to my favorite artists and influences of the time. Yet, the dance has ended, and the candles are out. Still, the woman is hopeful, looking off into the future. We are
